Case Study: FlightSafety Foundation & Floor Repair
Read about our work with FlightSafety. Midwest Foam Works was entrusted with the task of lifting their interior concrete floor.
The Challenge
In 2022, FlightSafety’s Greenwich Road facility began experiencing foundation failure. The entire south side of the building had settled, which also caused the attached interior concrete floor to sink. This structural issue threatened the integrity of the facility and required immediate corrective action.
The Solution
FlightSafety engaged a third-party structural expert to evaluate the problem and recommend solutions. The assessment determined that extensive piering was necessary to stabilize and lift the exterior foundation walls. Once this phase was complete, Midwest Foam Works was brought in to restore the interior concrete floor.
Our team used advanced foam injection technology to lift and level the settled concrete slab. This process ensured a smooth, safe, and stable surface without disrupting daily operations.
