Case Study: McPherson Public Library
Read about our work with the McPherson Public Library, where our team lifted and stabilized more than 5,500 sq. ft. of interior floors.
The Challenge
In 2022, the McPherson Public Library faced significant foundation issues. The interior concrete floors had shifted and sunk to the point of creating safety hazards for staff and visitors. A third-party foundation expert confirmed the severity of the problem and recommended immediate corrective action.
The Solution
The library’s board of directors hired Midwest Foam Works to stabilize the structure. Our team lifted and leveled approximately 5,500 sq. ft. of interior concrete flooring. To minimize disruption, the project was performed in phases, allowing community volunteers to move books and resources safely between work zones. Despite scheduling challenges and weather delays, the work was completed efficiently and on budget.
